A Note From Our Founder

When I was a kid growing up in Detroit, someone gave me my very first computer. I didn't know much about it at first, but once I started using it, everything changed. That computer helped me learn, explore new ideas, and believe in myself. It opened doors for me — and today, I work with technology every day.

I started Tech4Kids because I believe every child deserves the same opportunity.

A laptop is not just for homework. Kids can use it to practice math, read books, learn to code, create stories, play learning games, and discover what they're really good at. My son Gavin uses his computer to play learning games like Prodigy, practice math, and explore technology in fun ways. What starts as a game can turn into something amazing.

You never know — the things a child learns on a computer could help them become a programmer, engineer, designer, teacher, scientist, or something that hasn't even been invented yet.

Most importantly, I want every child to believe in themselves. I do.
